Actress Alia Bhatt has turned 26 today. She is cited as one of the best actresses in Bollywood because of her mind-blowing performances and amazing choices. Even though she has been a part of fantastic films, Bhatt's personal life has equally been in the news. Currently, she is dating her Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor. Since the day the couple made their relationship official, there have been rumours of their marriage.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Raazi actress was asked about the news surrounding her marriage with Ranbir. She said that it's unnecessary chatter. Alia stated, " You have to understand that personal life is called ‘personal’ for a reason. In fact, that’s why not many celebs talk about their relationships. The minute you say anything, there are random pieces of news including my supposed marriage."

Bhatt added that even when she interacts with her fans, they ask her when she is getting married. Alia feels why are they asking her this question and has she given any feeler about it. She feels that since it has been a season of marriages, everyone expects her also to get married.

"But marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed my mind. I am not averse to it. But it’s not a part of my plan right now. I have a lot of work to do. It’s not as if I won’t work post marriage, whenever it happens. But right now, my focus is just on work. My priorities will probably shift in time. As of now, it hasn’t," said the actress.

Alia added that her only companion right now is her world famous cat Edward and no one else!

On the work front, she was seen in Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh which released in February. The film became a superhit at the box office. She will be next seen in Kalank and Brahmastra this year.
