Alia Bhatt has wrapped up the second schedule of Sadak 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur in Ooty. The two were spotted at the airport recently as they returned to the bay. The actress recently shot an underwater shoot for the Vogue magazine. In an interview with the magazine, Alia said that Mahesh Bhatt was thrilled when her film Shaandaar didn't do well. She said that she was heartbroken. Meanwhile, her father Mahesh Bhatt was thrilled that the band-aid had been ripped off. He was the only one who celebrated. Hence, now, she is trying to be cautious of success and is okay with failure.

Shaandaar was released in 2015. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie also starred Shahid Kapoor. It was with Shaandaar that Alia had faced her first flop. The actress further spoke about pre-release nervousness said that she goes into five days of anxiety just before the release of her movie. She revealed that her least favourite part is checking reviews and box-office numbers. She said that sometimes, she jokes that why can’t we shoot films and not release them? On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2 with Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. It is scheduled to hit theaters on 10 July 2020. The actress will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, S. S. Rajamouli's RRR with N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi.
