India's Me Too movement has arrived and with it has come cascade of allegations from every corner of the country. Women have got the courage to open about their ordeals and give it back to the sexual offenders. There are many shocking incidents on the social media but one that totally stormed the Bollywood industry is Alok Nath being accused of sexual harassment and rape. He was known for his 'sanskaari' roles and has gained immense respect of all the fans throughout his career. Vinta Nanda and Sandhya Mridul have accused Alok Nath of sexual misconduct.

Going by the reports, Alok Nath is likely file defamation suit against Sandhya Mridul and Vinta Nanda. In a conversation with a news channel, Alok’s lawyer Ashok Saraogi said that the actor will be filing a defamation suit against Vinta Nanda. Saraogi told the news channel, "The charges levelled against my client are completely false. She is making baseless allegations. Alok Nath is innocent. He will speak at an appropriate time."

Vinta wrote a long post on Facebook narrating her ordeal. That post gave many others a courage to speak up against Alok Nath. When we got in with Vinta, she told us, "It's all there on my Facebook. I won't say anything less or more. But, I want to say that I am really overwhelmed with all the support that I am getting. There's no end in it. Tanushree has definitely has broken grass-ceiling but this has been going on from some time. She has come out with a force that it required. I think now if they don't change, they will never change. Fortunately, it's far behind in my case and the trauma is not that close as it's to other people. I have really put myself and I felt that it's important that young girls get a sense of confidence from that. It's a good time for women and girls and I think we all should rally together to make sure that in future, nobody tries something that's not respectful for women."

It all started when Tanushree Dutta first broke her silence and said that Nana Patekar harassed on the sets of Horn Ok Pleasss. And now, it has become a huge movement.
