Recently, in an interview with the Vogue India magazine, Navya has shared that instead of joining the film industry she is all set to join her father Nikhil Nanda’s business.
“I would be the fourth generation of the family taking the lead—and the first woman,” she added. Navya also said that it is a great sense of pride for her as she will be carrying forward the incredible legacy left behind by her great-grandfather HP Nanda. She further added that nowadays there are more and more women starting businesses, breaking records, showing up for one another and exuding independence. She expressed that she is grateful to be living in a time when women are taking charge. “The ball is definitely in our court, and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things we are going to achieve,” Navya stated.
Navya has also spoken about gender equality in the chat with the magazine. “This is something that can be achieved if we, as a whole, as a society, as women, as a nation, come together to make this a reality,” she added. The star kid is getting a lot of attention due to the work she is doing to empower women and discuss issues related to them.
