The beautiful Ananya Panday is currently busy gearing up for her next film, the remake of 1978 film Pati Patni Aur Woh. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the romantic comedy also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and is slated to release on 6 December this year. According to the buzz, Kartik will be playing the role of Chintu Tyagi while Bhumi will be his on-screen wife. Ananya will be seen playing the role of Chintu’s mistress, aka the ‘woh’ in the film.

In a recent interview, Ananya opened up about popularity and the paparazzi culture in the industry. Sharing her views, she said, “I think they are doing their job as well. When I decided to get into films I signed up for this. I am nice to them and say hi to them. A smile goes a long way (laughs). I am still living my normal 20 year old life, so it’s fine.”

The actress bagged her second film even before her debut film Student of the Year 2 released. Thanks to SOTY2, Ananya won many hearts with her performance and has been tagged as one of the most promising debutants this year. She also enjoys a great fan following on social media and is very connected to her fans. Speaking about the same, she shared, “I want to be extremely real and relatable. I want every girl to think of me as their friend. I want to propagate the idea of being yourself no matter what.”

Along with working hard and pursuing a career in acting, Ananya recently launched her Digital Social Responsibility initiative against bullying, called So+ (So Positive).
