Ananya Panday, who made her debut with Steundt Of The Year 2 along with Tara Sutaria seems to have gained quite the fan following and while the actress admits that social media is important and in fact, something that helps everyone connect, especially as the present day youth she also knows it does have its own cons. Ananya does not shy away from admitting how social media is as good as it is bad and the latter is true because of all the trolling that goes online.

Talking about the trolls the actress said how it must be taken positively, however, one does not have to take it too seriously since it can get to one's head otherwise. She further added how one has to know that at the end of the day they are all actors and that's what they are here for. She also did make a mention of how she is flattered how she gained popularity even before her film actually released and she also said the same during her appearance on the episode of Koffee With Karan.

I didn’t want to do this. I didn’t feel like I needed to explain myself to anyone, but the rumours that I faked my admission at USC have been doing the rounds for a while now. They've been getting out of hand, and it’s even more unfair and sad that my family and friends have to go through this. As I've stated earlier, I was accepted by Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at USC for a major in Communication in the Spring 2018 semester. But since I was shooting for my first film and the release date later got pushed, I had to request for a deferral (which means postponing my admission) twice - first to Fall 2018 and later to Fall 2019, both of which they gracefully agreed to do. In my case, I could only defer my admission two times so I will not be attending university (for now), since I’ve decided to pursue my career in acting. As for the people who have been trying to pull me down with these accusations, I would like to send you all lots of love, peace and positivity. And would also like to say that even though they’re claiming to be my classmates (nameless and faceless) - I'm sure they aren’t because I’ve grown up with the people I went to school with and they would never do something like that. It's never okay to bully anyone - creating fake conversations, stories and screenshots is very dangerous and can seriously damage people’s lives. So please be loving, positive and kind. (PS - my father’s real name is Suyash and I blurred out my address for security reasons)

Recently, the actress was caught up with a lot of trolling about her faking admission to USC, however, she did make it clear and posted on social media. She wrote, "I didn’t want to do this. The fact of the matter is we Indians are a silly audience we take and lap up PR manufactured nepo kids who have mentors like KJo how has no time for a someone with no star background . These kids are pushed into our screens they have mediocre talent they get all big banners and they are just spoilt and feel the world owes them this
I boycott these movies - I support Ayushman Vickey raj Kumar even kriti tapsee people who made with with one thing talent

Alot of the new gals are trying to be like Sara. So obvious. They should have their own personality. This is why education is important as you get exposed and find your identity.

Oh I so hate these Nepo gang and see how these dumbos give gyan statements

hattt ugly skeleton .tu hai kaun ???

Um... wut? Positively but not seriously? Is she saying she only reads the positive stuff about herself? They are so oblivious to reality it's almost insulting. Sure, some people troll to troll, like that one dude on here who keeps on saying on every actress' pages "Who is this ugly man?" BUT some people are actually using sentences and making points. The nepotism thing isn't a joke, kiddos. You'll see, flop after flop, until you wise up.

you couldn't have said it better !

Yes been seeing that troll keeps calling Alia ugly man-

pretending to be intelligent lol
