The disturbing details of a 26-year-old woman raped in Hyderabad not only angered the citizens but the B-Town celebrities too, who seem to have joined hands together, praying for the late victim and demanding for justice. 3 days ago, a 26-year-old veterinarian was brutally gang-raped and burnt alive by the four accused. The accusers planned the gruesome assault puncturing the woman's two-wheeler and offering her help after which they took her to a deserted location and then forced her into a bush.

Among many other Bollywood actors who expressed their anger on the heinous crime committed, Anushka Sharma too voiced the same. The actress took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Pain.. Anguish.. Anger..Frustration..Disbelief.. this is absolutely horrific and should be given the severest of punishments. My thoughts and prayers are with ****’s family. Justice should be served swiftly.”

Virat Kohli too denounced the shameful act and wrote, "What happened in Hyderabad is absolutely shameful. It’s high time we as a society take charge and put an end to these inhumane tragedies.”

The four accused men aged between 20 - 26, have been taken into police custody, while 3 policemen have been suspended for negligence.
