Anushka Sharma is holding no inhibitions in letting the world know that she is a proud wife. The Bollywood actress has time and again spoken about her adorable relationship with husband Virat Kohli. Recently, Anushka gushed about the Indian cricket team captain at a sports awards show. The Zero actress recently accompanied husband Virat Kohli second edition of the Indian Sports Honours. The award function was hosted by Virat. Looking flawless as she posed with the captain of the Indian cricket team, Anushka made heads turn at the red carpet.
It was during the press interaction, Anushka gushed about the cricketer and confessed she was proud of Virat. She admitted she was associated with the sports ceremony due to her husband and went on to gush about the sports star.
"I am associated with this award ceremony because my husband is associated with it. I think it's a unique initiative where you give backing and support to upcoming and promising Indian athletes. I think Virat has given many reasons to be proud of but his foundation is another reason to feel prouder, because of the work being done. The awards ceremony covers all kind of sports and that increases the sporting culture," Anushka said, as per an IANS report.
Apart from Anushka and Virat, the awards show was attended by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Madhu Chopra, Sania Mirza, Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh along with wife Hazel Keech, Javed Akhtar, Ajinkya Rahane, Zaheer Khan along with wife Sagarika Ghatge, Rahul Bose, Sona Mohapatra, Ram Sampath and Aparshakti Khurana.
