Anushka Sharma is one of the few actors from the younger generation who have taken risks and brought forward compelling stories with her production house Clean Slate Films.

Her last production Pari was well received by the audience and became the crusader in the way horror movies are dealt with in Indian cinema.

Well, it is no surprise that Pari will now be remade in Tamil, according to the latest buzz.

“Pari became a success because of its script and the willingness of a superstar to take a huge risk to back content that was aimed at redefining the horror genre in India. Everyone has taken notice of this gutsy decision. Pari will soon have a Tamil remake! Quality horror stories work in this market and the producers here have loved Pari. The offer on the table is a big one too and only adds to the revenue of Pari. An announcement is expected to happen as soon as the deal is locked. It is a huge success for Anushka,” an industry source on conditions of anonymity revealed.

Pari saw Anushka playing an intense character of a witch and won her several praises, not just for her stellar performance but also for the treatment given to the movie.

In the meantime, Anushka is busy shooting for Sui Dhaaga: Made in India along with Varun Dhawan. The movie releases on September 28, 2018.
