Arjun Reddy Tamil remake: Varun Dhawan’s October co star Banita Sandhu to romance Dhruv
Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandy’s Arjun Reddy, a Telugu film was one of the hit movies of 2017. The film received immense response from the audience and critics alike. Now, the blockbuster film is being made in several languages. The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, which has been titled, Kabir Singh will star Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The Tamil remake is being shot with Chiyaan Vikram’s son, Dhruv and Megha Chowdhury. However, Megha has been replaced by Banita Sandhu.
Dhruv Vikram, son of ace actor Vikram, will be making his acting debut with Varma. The makers of the film had released the first teaser last year in September, which received a mixed response. Now, according to the latest reports, Varun Dhawan’s co-star Banita Sandhu has replaced Megha and the makers of the film will shoot all the scenes again. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “CONFIRMED... #October leading lady Banita Sandhu to star in #Tamil remake of #ArjunReddy... Dhruv Vikram, son of Chiyaan Vikram, to essay the title role.” The Arjun Reddy Tamil remake will also see a new director which is yet to be announced.
Arjun Reddy was one of the biggest path-breaking films in Tollywood in 2017 and amplified the stardom of lead actor Vijay Deverakonda. Arjun Reddy was also the first movie for director Sandeep Vanga and female lead actor Shalini Pandey.
