Many Bollywood films face flak and ban for its title or showcasing of real story. One of them is Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15. Ahead of its release, several Brahman communities had alleged that the film shows its members in a negative sense. The movie got a thumbs up from the critics and was appreciated by the audience too. However, some people could not digest this fact. The civic administration in Roorkee has stopped the screening of "Article 15", stating some law and order concerns reportedly, just a day after the film was banned in Kanpur.
The Director-producer of the film, Anubhav Sinha didn't sit back but is voicing against the same. He took to his Twitter handle and said, "Seeking legal action. Will challenge it in the court." Article 15 of the Indian Constitution is about prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
the film also features Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, and Zeeshan Ayub. Talking about the film, Ayushmann had earlier said,  "I'm always intrigued by the socio-political situation of our country. We hardly see films which present the situation in an unbiased way. And it will be an absolute pleasure to work with him (Anubhav) on Article 15."
