With a snap of Thanos' fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, we saw some of our favourite Avengers turn into dust. Spider-man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and several others' disappearance in the last Marvel movie left the fans heartbroken and shattered. Now, that Avengers 4 is on its way, fans can't keep calm to know what has really happened to these Avengers. Are they dead? Will they return? What is Thanos planning to do with them? Will Iron Man die? There are so many questions in the minds of Avengers fans and with new theories coming out every day, it only adds more to curiosity.

Now, Marvel Executive Ryan Meinerding revealed that Thanos has not killed the Avengers in Infinity War. As reported by Comicbook, Ryan said, "The plan of getting all the Infinity Stones is putting [Thanos] in the position of being so powerful that he is sort of calmer, more single-minded, and more reasonable. He is not necessarily worried about killing the heroes. As long as he ends up with the stones, he can accomplish what he wants to."

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also said, "Storytelling devices that we’ve seeded into every film will continue to play a part and come together. We’ve been teasing this for six years. That’s a long time to tease something cinematically before paying it off. Thanos has to be the greatest villain in our movies."

Well, if killing the Avengers wasn't Thanos' purpose, we wonder what trap he is setting against the Avengers along with his greed for the infinity stones.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Avengers 4 will be out this year, probably this month itself. The film will hit the screens on May 19, 2019.
