Avengers: Endgame is just two months away and new theories revolving around the film and its characters have only seen an upward trend. Brand new theories emerge every single day and the latest theory suspects that everything is okay between Captain America and Iron Man. Marvel dropped a 30 second TV spot during the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday and die-hard fans of the franchise could not help but notice Captain America back with his original shield.

If you recall, Captain America was stripped off his shield by Iron Man aka Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War when he lied to Iron Man about his parents’ murder. Back then, Iron Man had told him that he doesn't deserve it anymore. He also fought Thanos without it.

In the latest teaser, Captain America appears to strap on the original shield and netizens could not contain their excitement after seeing this particular scene from Avengers: Endgame Superbowl TV spot. Check out some of the Twitter reactions below:

This theory actually makes us believe that everything will be fine and that at some point in the film Captain America and Iron Man will come together. Considering that it will officially be the last film for both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, it is safe to say that a completely unexpected twist may await us in the climax of the film.

Chris Evans in 2018 had tweeted confirming his exit. He had taken to Twitter and said, "Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful."
