The actor said that the word takla is quite derogatory. It's not celebrating self-love. It isn't about just receding hair or baldness. It's about loving and discovering yourself more than anything else.

After giving us back to back hits like Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15 and Dream Girl, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set for his next, Bala. The actor is currently busy promoting his film with co-star Yami Gautam. The two were spotted promoting their movie in Mumbai today. Twining in a white shirt, Ayushmann and Yami looked great together. According to ToI, during a media interaction with Ayushmann, the actor was asked about the allegations that the makers of Ujda Chaman had put on the makers of Bala for copying their story.

To this, the actor said that the word takla is quite derogatory. It's not celebrating self-love. It isn't about just receding hair or baldness. It's about loving and discovering yourself more than anything else. The makers of Bala shot their film first, announced their film first. There's just one line which is similar otherwise it's a different film. The actor further said, "I have seen the South film after we completed the shoot. Once you see the film, you'll realize (the difference)."

For those who don't know, today Ajay Devgn had shared a poster of Ujda Chaman featuring him in the poster with Sunny Singh. On the poster it was written, "Takle ki pehli aur asli film." When further Ayushmann was asked whether is he bothered that both the films are releasing almost back-to-back, the actor said, "It happened with Bhagat Singh also. I'm really confident about our film, it's a beautiful film and one of the best scripts I've ever read. Anybody can come up with the same idea."

Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bala also starring Bhumi Pednekar is all set to hit theaters on 7th November 2019. The movie revolves around a man, Bala (portrayed by Ayushmann) living in Kanpur who is suffering from alopecia, and the story is about his lack of confidence and the societal pressure that comes with balding.
