Ayushmann Khurrana will be next seen in the film Article 15 in which he plays the role of a cop. The film, directed by Anubhav Sinha is based on the socio-political situation in the country and on the issue of discrimination. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Andhadhun actor got candid about his next.

When asked was he worried that his film Article 15 which is based on a serious issue might become a documentary, the actor answered, "Every film of mine deals with a subject that can be made into a documentary — be it body shaming or anything else." Khurrana said that his film Article 15 is entertaining and it is also commercial as it has light moments, but the theme is dark.

He added, "What is the point of a film addressing a social issue if there is no reach? The reach will only come with entertainment. Otherwise, nobody will watch that film. If it is only going to the festivals, there is no point because you know that the audience already knows about these issues."

Ayushmann Khurrana stated that if one wants the single-screen audience to see the film and talk about the caste system in it, it is necessary to enlighten them about basic human rights. He said the multiplex audience already knows about it so no point catering to them as that is already sensitised.
