Ayushmann Khurrana on his role in Sriram Raghavan's film: As a character, this will definitely shock people

Ayushmann Khurrana to play a blind pianist in Sriram Raghavan's next.

Ayushmann Khurrana has been a part of many feel-good films and his performance has been impressive over the years. The actor had three releases this year - Meri Pyaari Bindu, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
Now, Ayushmann is all set to be seen in a thriller film being helmed by Sriram Raghavan of Badlapur fame. Recently, during an interaction with a media agency, when the multi talented actor was asked about the film, he stated, "I am glad I've taken my time. I have dabbled two different characters but I haven't dabbled two genres. My films have been medium budget ones, set in small towns about a middle-class family where I play relatable good boy characters."
He added, "I don't want to change myself with every film. Let me settle for this and then I'll do a makeover so that it should be a shocker for people. So as a character, this will definitely shock people."
Recently, it was reported that the film will be titled Shoot The Piano Player, but the actor said the film is untitled.
Earlier, Ayushmann shared his picture from the sets on the first day of the shoot. He captioned it saying, "I missed the match. But started something really exciting. Great day at office on day 1 in Pune. Sriram Raghavan's Shoot The Piano Player. #ShootBegins."
In the picture, a bearded Ayushmann was seen playing piano in a dimly lit room, with a cat and a window in the backdrop.
The movie is being co-produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures and features powerhouse actress Tabu. This is the first time that Ayushmann and Tabu are coming together on-screen.
