A film that has been the talk of the town since the first poster was released is Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl. The film’s first look showcased Ayushmann clad in a saree sitting on a motorcycle with a hand to his forehead and a quirky expression on his face. Over the past few days, rumours were rife that the trailer of the film will be out soon and fans were eager to see another entertaining story from the National Film Award winner, Ayushmann Khurrana.

As per a report in Bombay Times, the trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl is all set to be launched today. The film will revolve around Ayushmann who finds a job in a female friendship call centre and is the only male employee. In Dream Girl, Ayushmann will leave everyone shocked with his ability to transform into ‘Pooja’ who will become the most loved telecaller in the female friendship call centre. In a chat with Mid-Day, Ayushmann revealed that since he has a radio background, it was easy for him to work on his voice and get it right for Dream Girl. The AndhaDhun actor had to dub 25 per cent dialogues in a female voice and hence, had to work on voice modulations. Ayushmann said, “The biggest challenge was to crack the right note. As a guy, I have natural baritone and that makes it difficult to sound convincing as a woman. To transition between voices was challenging but it wasn’t one bit exhausting. I am naturally drawn to different characters, so this was an adventure.”

Meanwhile, the film will star Nushrat Barucha as Ayushmann’s love interest and it is their first film together. Due to Ayushmann playing Pooja in the film, he lands in some funny yet crazy situations and that promises to be the USP of the film. Directed and penned by Raaj Shandaliyaa, Dream Girl is produced by Balaji Telefilms. The other stars in the film are Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma and Raj Bhansali. Dream Girl is slated to release on September 13, 2019.
