Ayushmann Khurrrana has come to become synonymous with super hit films and there'd be hardly anyone who'd disagree with us becaue in the past one year or so, Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered blockbuster films such as Badhaai Ho, Andhadhun, Shubh Mangal Saavadhan, Article 15 and all of these films have been massive hits. And as we speak, Ayushmann has wrapped up the shooting of Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo.

Yesterday, social media was abuzz with Ayushmann’s next film titled Dream Girl as the makers of the film unveiled the trailer of the film and soon after, Ayushmann again, became the talk of the town because of his hatke film. In Dream Girl, Ayushmann essays the role of a young man who has an amazing talent of imitating female voice and plays female characters in Ramleela. In the trailer, we are shown that Ayushmann gets a job in an adult hotline, and customers, both men and women, fall for 'Pooja' and start searching for the face behind the sultry voice.

During the trailer launch of the film, Ayushmann opened up on how Shah Rukh Khan’s Kabhi Ha Kabhi Na was his dream role. “When you come to Mumbai, you create a certain perception in your mind because you've grown up on Hindi films. I thought Shah Rukh Khan's character in Kabhi Ha Kabhi Na would be my dream role. Then I thought Aamir's character in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and even Amitabh sir's character in Shakti was my dream role,” said Ayushmann. However, when Ayushmann made his acting debut, little did he know that he would arrive in Bollywood as a sperm donor in Vicky Donor. “I never thought I would arrive as a sperm donor and then do Dream Girl or an Article 15. The script writers today think ten steps ahead of perhaps what I can think. They surprise you with different characters,” said Ayushmann. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl is a Mathura-set comedy also featuring Annu Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha, Manjot Singh among others.
