Just a few days ago, producer Boney Kapoor had confirmed that the reboot of the hit film 'Mr India'  will be making its way to the screens in the near future. Boney had said, "There is no timeline as such, but in my lifetime I will make sure the reboot is done and the franchise remains alive for generations to come," the producer had told IANS. Now, in a latest chat with a leading daily, Boney Kapoor recounted meeting his wife Sridevi for the first time.

Speaking about it, Boney said, "The most special memory is, of course, meeting my wife Sridevi for the first time for the film and the first day of shooting with her." He also revealed that the late actress went beyond her agreed shooting schedule. "My only condition was that I needed 60-65 days, but we ended up shooting for 125 days because she was passionate about the project and knew it needed that kind of time."

Speaking about the Mr India reboot, "It’d be my ode to Sri and to Veeru (who died recently) and Amrish Puri and everyone who contributed to the film. But the most to Sri, because she was the sole selling factor of the film. Of course, Anil will be a part of the film. In fact, I’d want most people from the original to be a part of this. It’d mean a lot to me if they contributed to the film."

how many films will father and son sell on her name?

Stop cashing in on her death disgusting

Mr India is best known for Seema and Mogambo , both of whom are no more . So who will u take now ? Jhanvi ? Or Arjun / Harsh ? Please leave it alone .

How is it an ode to them? Reboots always seem like an insult to the original. I'm looking at you, Aladdin.
