Marvel Studios' first film of 2019 is exactly a month away from its release and the movie is set to be an epic one. Well, for starters, the film will be Marvel Cinematic Universe's first stand-alone, female-franchise title character—Captain Marvel played by actress Brie Larson. Acknowledged as Marvel's mightiest Super Hero, Captain Marvel is touted to begin 2019 with a bang and is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of this year after Avengers: Endgame.

Brie Larson, an Oscar-winning actress, underwent rigorous strength training routine in preparation for the role. She even did actual flight training which was quite intense. When asked what made Captain Marvel significant and stand out from other heroes. Brie said, "One of the biggest qualities is having an awareness outside of yourself, and understanding that the world doesn’t revolve around your needs. I think part of who I am, and part of who she [Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel] is too, is having the theory of mind to put yourself in other people’s shoes."

Brie also recalled the time she watched Wonder Woman and could not stop sobbing. She said, "I was in the cinema watching Wonder Woman. About two minutes in, I was sobbing and thought, “Why am I crying so much over this?” But it was seeing all of these warrior women who were so self-sufficient."

Speaking about the film's importance on the life of women and youngsters, Brie said, "To have the chance to be one example of this is powerful and exciting. For me, just the act of accepting the role and the process of getting physically strong [Larson worked out for four and a half hours every day for three months] changed me so much and made me stronger mentally. Hopefully, that will remind others, whatever journey they’re on, of their inner strength."
