Burt Reynolds dead: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kate Hudson and other celebrities offer condolences

Burt Reynolds passed away at the age of 82 after suffering a cardiac arrest at a hospital in Florida. The actor is survived by his son Quinton. The news of his demise has saddened his fans. Condolences are pouring in for the legendary actor on social media. Arnold Schwarzenegger  posted that Burt Reynolds was his hero and was a trailblazer. Kate Hudson posted a monochrome photo of herself in her mother Goldie Hawn’s arms, next to Burt Reynolds. She captioned it with a broken heart emoji. The photo was taken on the sets of the film Best Friends.

Mark Wahlberg also extended condolences. He shared a photo of him with Burt Reynolds from the film Boogie Nights. He wrote, “Rest in peace to a legend and a friend.”Reba McEntire posted a heartfelt note and shared a photo from their 1993 film, The Man from Left Field. Best known for his films like 'Smokey and the Bandit', 'Boogie Nights' and 'The Cannonball', Burt Reynolds was nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Boogie Nights. He won the Golden Globe for his performance in the film. He became an international sensation when he posed naked for the cover of Cosmo magazine.

He was married to actress Loni Anderson for five years.
