Captain Marvel which is Marvel studios first solo movie featuring a female superhero is all set to release on International Women's Day and MCU fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to open in the theatres. The makers and the cast including Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Gemma Chan, Samuel L Jackson and Brie Larson among others are currently in Singapore to promote their mega movie. And during a recent media interaction, the stars opened up about the film.

Brie Larson who plays the titular role was asked to comment on how she felt to play the dynamic role in MCU, to which she said, "The film itself is so big and there are so many aspects of it that are larger than life. we are dealing with a superhero with incredible powers, fighting with aliens in space. But I think the thing that really grounds it, in reality, are the smaller moments.. the moments in  the character moments, the moments in between, the big fight sequences so those were things that we really spent a lot of time tackling down to make sure that those had much care you know as much as giant explosion."

“She’s pretty much the strongest character -- in terms of someone with powers are able to do things -- in the Marvel universe. So, for Carol Danvers to be that person and for Brie to become that person, it’s gonna be a dynamite thing. I mean, [the Avengers] are up against some really, really tough odds right now -- we saw throughout Infinity War -- so now we know that we need something that’s as powerful as Thanos. And at some point, we’ll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she’s capable of. She’s one of the few people in the Marvel universe that can time travel.” Samuel L Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the 90s-set film told during an interview.
