Chehre: TV star Krystle D'souza to make her Bollywood debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi

Putting a rest to all the rumors, Krystle D'souza herself has given a confirmation of being the lead actress in Chehre. She shared the news by posting a picture of her with Emraan Hashmi and the makers on her Instagram account.

Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre has been in the news since Kriti Kharbanda's exit from the movie. While there were reports that the makers had removed Kriti from the movie because of her tantrums, a few days later, the makers, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures tweeted, "In the light of recent media reports, we wish to clarify that  @kriti_official  &  @apmpictures  have mutually agreed to part ways on a cordial & professional note. We wish her success in all her future endeavours!" 

There were speculations going around of Mouni Roy been given the offer to replace Kriti in the movie, but the actress also had given a pass to it because of her jam-packed schedule. Later there were talks going around that Krystle D'souza will be playing Kriti Kharbanda's character in the movie. But no official confirmation was given then. And now putting a rest to all the rumors, Krystle D'souza herself has given a confirmation of being the lead actress in Chehre. She shared the news by posting a picture of her with Emraan Hashmi and the makers on her Instagram account. She wrote, "Firsts are always so special ! I am so happy to be associated with @AnandPandit in his next film # Chehre. I Couldn’t have asked for anything more than to share screen space with the industry's best in my first !! Chehre, In cinemas from 24th April 2020." 

For the uninitiated, Krystle D'souza is a popular face on television. She has appeared in popular shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Ekk Nayi Pehchaan and Brahmarakshas. Chehre will mark the actresses' Bollywood debut. Talking about Chehre, it is directed by Rumi Jaffery and is a mystery thriller that is scheduled to hit the screens on April 24, 2020.
