While Shraddha, Sushant and their gang's previous poster which showed them as youngsters and aged was a hit online, the new poster has that plus a fun picture of the gang. The stars are at their goofiest best in this poster. Chhichhore aims at celebrating the different colours of friendship. Set in what seems like the late 80s or the early 90s, the film's trailer seems to have struck a chord with the younger audience already.

The college gang includes Anni (Sushant Singh Rajput), Maya (Shraddha Kapoor), Sexa (Varun Sharma), Derek (Tahir Raj Bhasin), Mummy (Tushar Pandey), Acid (Naveen Polishetty) and Bevda (Saharsh Kumar Shukla). All pet names they earn are courtesy of their unique characteristics.

The film was earlier set to release on August 30. However, to avoid a clash with Saaho starring Prabhas and Sharddha Kapoor, the film will now be hitting the theatres on 6 September.
