Deepika Padukone is one of the finest actors we have in B-town, and while there is no denying that, we might also add how the actress manages to slay every character she takes on. Apart from Chhapaak in January 2020, DP will be next seen in Ranveer Singh starrer '83, which is Kapil Dev's biopic. Deepika, Ranveer, and team '83 had a wrap-up party just a day before, and videos and photos have been doing the rounds on the internet.

Now, as Deepika is going to don the role of Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Dev on-screen, looks like Deepika has everyone impressed already. According to the reports, the producer told MidDay how when Romi first saw DP on the set, she went onto highlight how she felt like she was looking at a mirror image of herself from 20 years ago and how there is a striking similarity. The reports further claimed how when Romi casually dropped in on the sets while DP shot in London back in July, Romi was rather surprised seeing the transformation. In the movie, we will see her sport a short hairdo; however, she did not turn to prosthetics and the look will be revealed along with the teaser only.
