The recent incident to have taken the country by storm was the Kathua rape case which left everyone especially parents raging. An 8-year-old was kidnapped, sedated, brutally raped for days and then finally murdered in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. The police arrested eight people in the case.
While Amitabh Bachchan's comment on the case received a lot of flak, Alia Bhatt among others spoke stringently on the issue. Salman, who was today present at the Race 3 trailer launch, was asked to comment on the child atrocities which are coming to light of late, the major being Kathua rape case.
Without naming the case, Salman called for an action to be taken against this. He said, "We need to take a stand on this right now. This needs to stop right now, ASAP. Abhi khatam karo. Jaise bhi."
Furthermore, Salman was also asked if he was worried about the money riding on him during the recent court case. To this, he said, "Did you think I was going to go in forever? Thank you. Because I was not worried."
Salman also quipped about him not being a "sensible actor." He said, "I am not a sensible actor. I am neither sensible nor an actor."
Meanwhile, about Race 3, Salman maintained that everyone in the film has been treated equally. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem among others.
