Arjun Kapoor and Raj Kumar Gupta joined hands for the first time for India's Most Wanted. The thriller revolves around Arjun's character and how he nabs one of the deadliest terrorists. The entire cast and crew have maintained a stoic silence on who the film is based on.

But we can tell you that it's indeed the story of Yasin Bhatkal, who at one point, was considered one of the most dangerous faces of terrorism. He was the founder leader of Indian Mujahideen and carried out several blasts in the country in different cities. He was also listed on the list of NIA Most Wanted but was arrested on the India-Nepal border near Motihari, Bihar in 2013 and was sentenced to death three years later. The entire story fascinated Raj who had been working on the film's script for years now.

Initially, the film was supposed to star Sidharth Malhotra but he opted out and Arjun was brought in. The trailers and promos received a good response but the makers consciously kept the identity of the 'merciless villain' under wraps. And now, we have got our hands on a press note released by the Government of India back in time. It said that there was a bounty of Rs 10 lakhs alone in Maharashtra to be given to anyone who could provide any information that led to his subsequent arrest. That was not just in one state, but several cities and states in India put a figure to the same, which eventually totalled to almost 3 crore. Yes, he was that dangerous!

In the film, Raj shows how Arjun's character gathers five commen men and leave for Kathmandu to capture the mastermind behind the serial blasts in and around the nation. It was considered one of the most coveted and brave missions in India's history. And interestingly, they nabbed Bhatkal without having to use a single bullet.
