Sandeep Reddy Vanga made his debut as a director with Telugu film Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. The director remade the film in Hindi titled as Kabir Singh which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Kabir Singh turned out to be a huge hit at the box office and was loved by the audience. It refused to slow even after a month of its release and had crossed Rs 275 crore mark.

Now, after the enormous success of Kabir Singh, director Sandeep is all set to come up with his next Bollywood film. Infact, the producers of Kabir Singh, Murad Khetani and Bhushan Kumar have again collaborated with the director for this untitled new project. This new project is said to be a crime drama. Producer Murad Khetani announced this news on Twitter. He tweeted, "Very excited to once again collaborate with  @itsbhushankumar  and  @imvangasandeep  for a crime drama.  @Cine1Studios   @TSeries."

The movie is still in the scripting stage and the cast of the film has not been finalised yet.The untitled crime drama will be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Sandeep Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures.

Kabir Singh revolved around a short-tempered surgeon Kabir Singh (Shahid) who goes on a path of self-destruction, consuming drugs and alcohol after he cannot marry the love of his life Preeti (Kiara). The movie also starred Soham Majumdar, Arjan Bajwa, Suresh Oberoi, Nikita Dutta and Kamini Kaushal in pivotal roles.
