It has been quite an exciting time for the Kapoors and the Pataudis as a new member arrived in their families on February 21, 2021, as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were blessed with a baby boy. Taimur's younger sibling arrived and since then, fans have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the little one. More than that, many are excited to know what the newborn baby boy would be named by Bebo and Saif. Amid this, excited Grandfather Randhir Kapoor has shared an update about Kareena and Saif's baby name for fans.
In a chat with Mid-Day, Randhir shared that he met with his daughter Kareena after she delivered her second child and that both mother and son are healthy. Amid this, when prodded about Kareena and Saif's second baby name, Randhir shared that they haven't come to decide it yet. Talking about it to Mid-Day, the senior star said, "It's too early. We haven't decided the baby's name yet." To recall, when Taimur was born and his name was revealed, it caused much uproar on social media. Many social media users went out of their way to express their discontentment about Kareena and Saif's first child's name.
Now, as the second child has arrived, the buzz on social media has begun about the name of Taimur's sibling. A while back, on her show What Women Want, Kareena had shared her take on the second child's name and said that she and Saif have not given it a thought. She shared that after they saw what happened after they named their first son Taimur, she and Saif will leave their second child's name decision to the last minute. She said, "We’re going to leave it till last minute and then spring a surprise."
Meanwhile, yesterday, Kareena was discharged from the hospital and she along with Saif and Taimur were snapped while heading home with their newborn. Last evening, a small get-together took place at Kareena's house where Karisma Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and others came to visit the newborn and their friends Saif and Kareena.

Name of a kid shud be based on meaning of the name not based on whom name it was. Taimur means iron so name second son shamsher which means sword.
