There is no better way to introduce Benedict Cumberbatch, the man singlehandedly responsible for setting hearts racing for millions and billions of his fans. His performance as Doctor Strange and Sherlock Holmes is best remembered and he is all set to play a superhero in upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War. The movie releases in India on April 27, 2018.
When a leading daily asked Benedict which character of himself is close to his real self, Sherlock Homes or Doctor Strange, he said, "Um, neither, really.”
“I am neither that brilliant nor that socially awkward. But I do get drawn towards ‘outsiders’… the complicated sort of characters,” he added.
Speaking about his character, Benedict explained, “They (Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Strange) are both smart… but that’s kind of it really. Holmes is a high-functioning sociopath. While Strange is different. He has much bigger responsibilities and a bigger impact. He is more concerned with the material world, especially in the origin story.”
