Dream Girl actor Ayushmann Khurrana REVEALS he would love to work with Rohit Shetty; Here’s what he has to say

If we look at the career graph of National Award Winner, Ayushmann Khurrana, it can safely be said that he has proved his craft and versatility with films such as Vicky Donor, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun and others. As we speak, Ayushmann Khurrana is busy with the promotions of Dream Girl opposite Nushrat Bharucha and in the film, Ayushmann will play the role of a girl named Pooja.

During an interview, when Nushrat said that she would love to see Ayushmann play a negative role, the Vicky Donor actor said that back in the day, when he was doing theatre, Ayushmann used to do a lot of negative role but not in films. “This is because I am in no hurry to do that. I am looking for a good script,” said Ayushmann. And when the actor is quizzed as to what kind of films he would like to do in the future, Ayushmann revealed that he would like to do larger-than-life films such as that of a Rohit Shetty kinds. “I would like to do a larger-than-life film, something like a Rohit Shetty film. But in that too, it has to be something different,” says Ayushmann Khurrana. Well, it is the dream of every actor to do a Rohit Shetty larger-than-life film, and it comes as no surprise that even Ayushmann would love to work with the Simmba director.

Talking about Dream Girl, Ayushmann in an interview, had said that Dream Girl is an out and out masala film, and one of his most commercial films which is very different from others. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl will see Ayushmann play a fake girl named Puja, the film also features Nushrat Bharucha as the female lead and will hit the screens on September 13. Dream Girl also stars Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, and Raj Bhansali.
