Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be next seen in the film Fanney Khan. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Dutch film Everybody's Famous.

The trailer and three songs of Fanney Khan are already out. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays the role of a pop star in the film. The song Mohabbat gives us a glimpse of her character in the film and she looks like a diva in it.

The second song Halka Halka is a romantic track featured on her and Rajkummar. It showed us their cure and romantic equation in the film.

In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, director Atul Manjrekar spoke about Ash and the reason she agreed to do the film.

He said that the role was written keeping Aishwarya in mind. "Everyone was sure that Aishwarya would do justice to the role. She is one of the most beautiful women, a true performer, a diva, and an iconic figure that girls look up to," said Atul.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is quite particular about choosing her roles and films. So what was the reason that made her say yes to the film? Atul Manjrekar reveals, "It was not difficult at all. She heard the script and she understood the thought behind the film and her character. Somewhere, it resonated with her. She thought that through her character she would be able to reach out to teenagers. I believe that’s why she agreed to do the film."

Fanney Khan is slated to release on August 3, 2018.

The crew may be sure abt her but the audience is unsure abt her acting ability.

sushmita would have been so much better

I love Aishwarya. Always have but recently i feel her acting skills are just average.

it has always been the case, earlier she networked with directors producers who can giv her chance in great movies so she survived

She's a bit of a ham. She goes over the top with emotional or humorous scenes. Sadly, none of these directors seems to have the guts to give her direction or they are so in awe of her beauty, they are blind to her acting.

Is it because she is not a product of neoptism OR she is a very talented actress?

It’s not like she gets lots of offers to choose from.

Ya she is reaching to us like cartoon with funny dance in fanney movie
