‘This film will remain closest to my heart’: Karan Johar gets all emotional as Kal Ho Naa Ho clocks 15 years

Today, Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) completes 15 years and filmmaker Karan Johar took to social media to post a video of the film and celebrate the films and its success. Kal Ho Naa Ho stars Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in lead roles.

It has been 15 years for Karan Johar’s film Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003); however, all the memories of the film still remain fresh in our hearts. Be it Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan or Preity Zinta, we have grown up watching Aman romance Naina on the silver screen, and we can continue to watch them till eternity. And today, filmmaker Karan Johar gave us the perfect dose of morning love when he posted a video on Instagram announcing 15 years to the film. Alongside a video from the film, Karan Johar’s caption, ‘This film will always remain the closest to my heart....#15yearsofkalhonaaho,’ had us all emotional.

From the dialogues like ‘Suno, Jiyo! Muskurao! Kya Pata Kal Ho Naa Ho’ to the epic songs such as ‘It’s the time to Disco! to the perfect cast, the film was and will always be a favourite. Till date, whenever Kal Ho Naa Ho comes on TV, all of us are glued to the television to watch the film. Kal Ho Naa Ho was directed by Nikkhil Advani and the film was loved by the audiences as the lead characters, namely, Aman, Naina and Rohit continue to resonate with the audiences even today. In an interview to PTI, Preity Zinta had said, “It is a timeless film. I am fortunate that I was a part of it.”

it was good because he did not direct it

KJo might have not taken credit for it but he definitely directed everything in it. Nikhil advani is incapable of making such a classic, just watch his other halwa films like Salame Ishq, Chandni chowk to China, Hero, Katti Batti.......just watch these films and then rewatch KHNH. And then rethink rationally if it’s plausible
