Game of Thrones: Nathalie Emmanuel reveals why the final season is taking longer to shoot than usual

Actor Nathalie Emmanuel who plays the role of Missandei in Game of Thrones talked about the show at length and also revealed why the ninth and final season is taking a long time to shoot.

Games of Thrones is one of the most popular fantasy dramas. The show had successful eight seasons and next year the ninth and the final season of the show will be out. The eighth season was out in 2017 and it has been a year now. But the fans have to wait for another year as the final season will be aired in 2019. In an interview with IANS, actress Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays the role of Missandei in GoT talked about the show and the reason the finale season is taking longer to shoot.

Nathalie Emmanuel told IANS, "I think what we can expect from the final season of Game Of Thrones is just a real push. Like in the last couple of seasons, we have seen the pace of the show increase with the stakes getting higher and higher. There are so many storylines that have to come to conclusion. We have to play them out, so the pace of the show is continuing on that sense." The release date of season 9 is not yet announced.

The actress further added, "All of the things that you expect from Game of Thrones but at the same time since it is the last one, the emotions will be so much more intense. I am very excited for people to see it. We have been working so hard on it. The production is finished now."

Nathalie said that she is quite confident about the final season of Game of Thrones and the story will blow the audiences' minds. "I feel like people will have their mind blown when they watch the final one," concluded the actor.
