Game of Thrones' eighth and the final season is one of the highly anticipated shows of the year. Fans are eagerly waiting to know what will unfold and how Jon Snow, Arya, Daenerys, Sansa and others will tackle the White walkers as the wall is down. Meanwhile, Sophie Turner who plays the role of Sansa recently in an interview with InStyle revealed that she was asked by the makers not to wash her hair while filming for the HBO series. "For the first few seasons, I was allowed to wash my hair because I was an aristocratic young girl. Towards season five, they started asking me to not wash my hair and it was really disgusting," Turner said. She also said that many male actors on the show were asked to follow the same. "Now I wear a I wig, so I can wash my hair whenever I want, which is nice. But yes, for a couple of years I was living with pretty greasy hair.[It was] really itchy! Also, we would have the snow machines going so we would have little snow paper particles that would get stuck in the grease. It was disgusting," she added.

She also went on and revealed how her hair changed as per who influenced her. She said that the first episodes she wore simple braid down the back as she represented Northerner. Later, after reaching King's Landing, she wore hairdo like the Queen. During her Littlefinger days, she dyed her hair black. After going back to Winterfell, she returned to her mother’s hair.

"She created her own identity in season seven and that kind of runs through to season eight," Turner continued. "She’s chosen how she wants her hair to be, and she’s finally the leader and influencer instead of being influenced by everyone else," she added. What are your views?
