The Girl On The Train Trailer: Parineeti Chopra's crazy train ride is a dark story with thrilling performances
Three weeks after dropping the teaser of the much-anticipated thriller drama, Parineeti Chopra's The Girl On The Train trailer is finally here. While the sneak peek had intrigued fans with Parineeti's chilling act, the trailer now takes us deep inside the sinister minds of its leading characters. Along side Parineeti, the film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary of Bulbbul fame.
The Girl On The Train trailer introduces us to Mira Kapoor played by Parineeti who suffers from amnesia, a type of memory loss. The trailer juggles between the past and present as it shines light on Mira's happy days as well as her current state of mind. Aditi Rao Hyadri features as Nusrat, the woman Mira observes every day on her train ride. Avinash Tiwary plays Mira's husband, whereas Kriti Kulhari is in a never before seen avatar as a cop.
Directed by Bard of Blood's Ribhu Dasgupta, the film is the official Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Hollywood film of the same name starring Emily Blunt.

As is in the English version, The Girl On the Train follows Mira Kapoor a divorcee, who fixates on the lives of a perfect couple from afar, during her daily train journey. The movie synopsis reveals, "She (Mira) soon gets embroiled in a murder mystery that unfolds revealing truths about her own life."

This looks great! Nice to see Parineeti in a different genre. She is a capable actress and fun to watch. I hope she gets good work even on the OTT platform. She deserves to stretch herself as an actress.
