Koffee with Karan Season 6’s most talked about episode has been the latest one, which featured Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. Hardik’s misogynistic comments about women have got him in trouble. The fact that he boasted about the women he slept with and the way he was bragging about it hasn’t gone down too well with the people and the show has also been pulled down from the online streaming platform. Hardik and KL have been suspended and the investigation is still going on.

Karan Johar has finally broken his silence on the Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul controversy. Karan said that he feels very responsible because it was his show and it was his platform. He also revealed that he has had so many sleepless nights wondering about how he can undo the damage. Karan said that the whole controversy has gone into that zone where no one would listen to him. He added, "I'm not justifying the conversation that happened on the show. I think perhaps things were said that have crossed boundaries, and I apologise because it was my platform where it happened. I feel the boys have paid the price for it already."

Twitterati is still disappointed with Karan and feels that he should have been aware of his social responsibilities. Some even said that it’s too late to apologize.

He wrote, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologize to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect."

Nice to hear this from the one who kept needling that idiot to spew nonsense.

Its high time KJ draw the line between bollywood & other celebrities. His stale, stupid n repetitive questions are really annoying.

I'm disappointed with all these twitterati. He asks the same kind of questions to everyone but other people do not come across the same way. The cricketers are responsible for what they say, why say stuff that would need to be checked and edited? We need to stop making excuses for grown men

True! Deepika was spot on with her response to the controversial questions KJ was asking and managed to earn respect. Everyone is responsible for what they say no matter what situation they are putting in.
