Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul appeared in the latest episode of Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee with Karan season 6. However, their comments and answers during the rapid-fire triggered a massive outrage on the social media. The two cricketers have fallen into trouble over the controversial remarks. Soon after realizing that things have not gone down well among the fans on the social media, Hardik Pandya took to Twitter and issued an apology.

He wrote, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologize to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect." On the other hand, KL Rahul has not responded to it yet. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, BCCI issued show cause notices for their comments on women.

"We have sent show cause notices to Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul for their comments. They have been given 24 hours to give an explanation," Chairman of the Committee of Administrators that runs the BCCI, Vinod Rai quoted to TOI.

In case if you have not watched the show, Hardik made some controversial remarks that objectified women.  He also revealed that how he informed his parents that he lost his virginity by telling them, "Aaj mai kar ke aaya." This is just one of many that have offended people.

Honestly these people are public figures. It is an honor to be a part of the Indian cricket team. A whole generation of young boys look up to them. When they have such a low opinion of women then people who are in the lower strata of society will think they can also treat women however they want. The Indian cricket team has lost respect in my eyes.

Why a notice to Rahul? He was okay.

This is the action needed !! Good job BCCI !! Hardik was so arrogant and I don’t wanna say much ! Stay grounded my friend !! Good bless

Good going BCCI.. good to see that popular and rich people are being questioned rather than being let go.. this should be applied every place..
