Harshvardhan Kapoor debuted in the industry with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya. The actor was last seen as a vigilante in Bhavesh Joshi Supehero.

In a recent interview with Quartz, he was quoted saying, "Sonam is in her own world, and she’s done all kinds of films. But I also think it’s easier sometimes for a heroine to fit in a lot of films…for example, a Padman is not driven by her, right? So she doesn’t have to be there for a 100 days. Heroines can be more free. For me now, the whole film will hinge on my shoulders…So, I don’t really take advice from her."

He added, "Rhea’s a producer. She has more marketing feedback as opposed to creative feedback with script and stuff. Our films (Bhavesh Joshi and Veere di Wedding) are releasing on the same day, so she’s too busy and she couldn’t help us.”

Harsh took to Twitter to clarify that he was misquoted. He wrote, "If you believe everything printed in the media and start accusing people immediately ... can’t help you ... I never said this ... it’s taken completely out of context and misinterpreted ok I’m done defending myself gonna go hang with my sisters now bye."

I do not think it is completely out of the context. However when you speak try not to poke negatively on others work. this guy is too arrogant.

The only sane sibling in that family appears to be Rhea. Maybe being the middle child has given her a more balanced attitude.

Who?

What an drama all these star kids, all losers!

What about Neerja Raanjhana khoobsurat
You idiot
Women have way fewer choices and to pave the way with the limited options is much tougher a task than any male actor would face

People watched Khoobsurat only for the talented and extremely handsome Fawad. Not Sonam.

This guy is useless spoilt brat who has a superiority complex. Never seen a brother be shamelessly jealous and undermine his Sisters achievements the way he does. He needs someone intelligent like Jim Sarbh who managed to put him in his place and shut him up very politely. The dude is so unlikable.

Please explain Jim Sarbh thing? I have not idea about it.

it was rajeev masand's newcomer roundtable where Harsh started arguing that nepotism doesn't matter, and he had the same journey as an outsider. And Fatima and Jim gave him a reality check.

What an embarrasment to his family! Always being misquoted? Or just a consistent brat?

I dont believe him...even in that interview with sonam during his first movie promotion,he was the same...arrogant,delusional ,clueless and sexist...

Actually, I doubt he was "completely taken out of context." This is the same guy who shaded a chill, humble, no-controversies dude like Diljith Dosanjh for winning the filmfare. And he did it so publicly. IDK his resentment sounds all too familiar.

Anil does not even like him much and never did to begin with. Sunita is all into him cuz he was born a boy. smh hope he continues to flop. those were words

Women power should start at home... btw what he was saying about her is not wrong..

Anil prob prefer the girls more than him, he sound hurt.

All I got from his post is that he has no back bone cool

Damage control. He cares two hoots for his family or sisters. Arrogant flop nepo kid!

This was posted yesterday without Harsh's clarification , I even commented on how superior & condescending he sounds . The entire article went missing after 10 minutes .

Even i felt the same in Harshvardhan's interviews before, he sounds like he is superior and is more intelligent then all his family members....Even Anil Kapoor during his first movie launch said 'this guy doesnt listen to me all' and in Rajeev Masand's interview Anil kapoor said he will understand slowly wot we are trying to say........This lad should know his family members have years of experience in the film industry, if not atleast respect them and hear them out....

Very true . In the 1st article he had made a stupid comment also saying that he never takes his father's advice like it's something to be proud of ! I got the impression that his family are worried for his career ,but the bloke continues to act like a know-it-all ignoring everyone . Anil had read the Mirziya script & suggested Harsh refuse the movie as he felt that the public would find it too abstract (& he's bang on there).
