Actress Dia Mirza was the talk of the town over the past few weeks as she married Vaibhav Rekhi in a private ceremony in Mumbai. The Thappad star kept the ceremony very intimate with only a few close family members and friends and it was held in her own building. While the star kept it subtle and elegant for her wedding day in a red and gold silk saree, her gorgeous makeup and mesmerising look has been the talk among many young brides.

Recently, her makeup artist shared the inside video of how Dia got dolled up for her big day and left everyone mesmerised. The Thappad star looked calm and composed on her wedding day as her makeup artist and hairstylist worked their magic on her. Her makeup was kept natural and subtle in line with the floral theme of the wedding. Her hair was neatly tied up in a center-parted bun and had a beautiful gajra to cover it.

The star looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day and her jewellery perfectly complemented her bridal look. In the video, we also get to see Dia pose with Vaibhav while the photographer clicks them in the frame. From holding each other's hand to smiling while looking at each other, Dia and Vaibhav looked absolutely in love in the small video that was shared by the makeup artist.

Take a look:

Dia and Vaibhav broke many stereotypes at their wedding. They said a complete no to the bidaai and kanyadaan rituals and also had a woman priest officiate their wedding rituals. The photos from their wedding took the internet by storm. A video of Vaibhav's daughter walking in front of Dia on the aisle holding a placard reading 'Papa's Girls' went viral. The couple also came out to distribute sweets among the media and paparazzi after they got hitched.
