Hrithik Roshan is having a great year with to back to back hits. The actor is riding high on the success of his latest film War and Super 30. War also starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor which hit the screens on October 2, 2019 has been a huge hit. The movie has been unstoppable at the box office. War has been declared as the biggest opener of the year with a stupendous collection of Rs. 51.50 crore. The movie has recorded a growth of 30% on Sunday itself and minted 35.5-36 crore nett. The total box office collection of War is Rs.158 crore nett.

War is an in and out action drama in which Hrithik is a master. On doing action movies, the actor in an interview said, “I love the nuance, aesthetics and subtlety of action movies. I also love the fact that this genre requires both composure and frenzy. I’m more inclined towards action entertainers, which my favourite genre." It was a big challenge for Hrithik to work on War as he started the shoot of War after Super 30's schedule, and in Super 30, he had to maintain a lean body, while in War he had a muscular one.  

On this, the Super 30 actor said, “I was in a bad shape. My waist was wider and I was lazy. The process of transformation was very tough as I had only two months in hand for it." The actor even got someone to shoot the whole process of transformation to get the body needed to play Kabir in War. He said, “If the film turns out well, then I will show it to my audience".
