Hrithik Roshan will be next seen in the film Super 30 which was being helmed by director Vikas Bahl. But, everything went down the hill when Vikas was accused of sexual misconduct last year. Post Vikas’ exit, the movie was put on a backburner. Earlier, Super 30 was supposed to release on January 25, 2019. There are reports floating around about who will be taking the director’s seat for the movie. Well, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, it will be Anurag Kashyap who will be helping the team to edit the film. Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, said that Vikas is not a part of any post-production work.

He also added, “There will be no director credit for anyone. As a producer, after a substantial investment of time, money and the efforts of all our technicians and talent, it is our responsibility to complete the film with the best possible resources available to us. Anurag is a partner, he has edited films of other Phantom partners in the past. He agreed to take this responsibility on Reliance’s request, and with a professional and commercial understanding. Also, it has been agreed that he will not take any credit.”  He further added there was no request from Hrithik on who he needs to be associated to complete the film.

Shibasish also mentioned that Vikas has been informed of this development, and he also denied the reports of him getting an additional fee. In the end, he also said that if Vikas manages to get a clearance from the court, then they will reconsider whether his name can be given as a director. Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. The film will now hit the screens on July 26, 2019.
