Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are going to face-off in the high-octane movie War. The trailer was released a few days and it promises edge-of-the-seat action sequences and stunts. The Siddhart Anand directorial, which also stars Vaani Kapoor in the lead, sees Hrithik and Tiger jump off buildings, indulge in some jaw-dropping fights and whatnot. Don't they look at par with Hollywood standards? That's because War roped in international stunt director Paul Jennings. As previously reported, the action director has worked on a slew of international projects, including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and hit TV show Game of Thrones.

The stunt director discussed War in a new interview and compared the Hrithik-Tiger starrer with the likes of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible and Vin Diesel's Fast & Furious. Speaking to Mid-Day, Jennings explained that Bollywood allows you to play with the boundaries. Given the flexible boundaries, action directors can imagine and play out spectacular action sequences.

"What I love about Bollywood is that you can push the action a little bit further. You can do things that push the boundaries of believability right to the edge," he said before adding, "As a result, you can end up with more spectacular sequences." Furthermore, he explained, "In Hindi movies, you can sometimes be limited by the budget. But on this film, Adi [ Aditya Chopra, producer] wanted to have the best action sequences possible. So, we had a big budget and were able to [ give shape to] any grand scene we envisioned."

Comparing the Mission: Impossible and Fast & Furious franchise, he added, "So, I would say there is no difference between the sequences in War and say, Mission Impossible or the fast And the furious. the film is at par with them." Jennings also gushed about Hrithik and Tiger's dedication in the movie. "They are both dedicated actors who worked hard at different facets of their craft, including physical training, fighting and dancing. We would choreograph fight sequences during rehearsals and then show them to Hrithik and Tiger, who would then inject their individuality to the moves. It is because of them that we could take the fights to a whole new level," he said.

War is set to release on October 2. Are you excited to watch it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
