Soon after the allegations came into light, several other women came forward accusing the director of sexual misconduct, including Queen actresses Kangana Ranaut and Nayani Dixit. Following the accusations, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who's working with him in his next film Super 30, has also asked the producers to take a stock of the situation and has requested a harsh step if the need be. Meanwhile, Bahl has also been outed from Ranveer Singh's 83.

A source close to the production informed that, "Allegations against Vikas have been a huge concern for the team of 83 and they expressed their concern over his presence in the film. Owing to his misconduct, the internal team came to a conclusion unanimously that he shouldn't be involved with the project in any capacity. The same has been conveyed to him and his then partners Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena," informs our source.
