Before the tournament began, crickets lovers placed their bets on England meeting India at the World Cup 2019 final. But it seems like that may or may not happen. India meets England on June 30 for a crucial match. While India is looking for a spot in the semi-finals, England is on the verge of getting out of the tournament. Pakistan secured a spot above England on Saturday after they defeated Afganistan by three wickets. This led to the Pakistan team securing nine points and the fourth spot on the table. Thus, creating pressure on England to win today's match against India.

If England loses today, Pakistan stands a higher chance of qualifying. However, if the English team wins today, Pakistan will have a tough time staying in the tournament. Given this development in the cricket tournament, actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to point out the uniqueness of this India vs England match taking place in Edgbaston. The actor, who is in the US seeking treatment for his health issue, took to Twitter to point out that cricket fans from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka would be rooting for India's victory.

He tweeted, "Sunday’s ICC [World Cup] game will be unique between India and England. 1.2 billion Indians,200 million Pakistanis, 150 million Bangladeshis and 25 million Sri Lankan’s will be praying for India’s win. If India loses then Pakistan,Bangladesh and Sri Lanka our of the tournament. Jai Hind!"

Rishi also congratulated Pakistan over their victory against Afganistan. He said, "Again very well played Afghanistan but tough luck. Congratulations [Pakistan]."

We hope India wins today! Meanwhile, Rishi recently shared photos with his son Ranbir Kapoor and other Kapoor family members. The actor has been in the US for almost a year now. Several Bollywood stars have been visiting Rishi as he recovers from his ailment.
