India's Me Too Movement: Dia Mirza supports the journalist who accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment

Dia Mirza came out in the support of the journalist who accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment and tweeted, "I am so sorry you had to go through this @karishmau. With you in support."

As India's Me Too movement has gained its momentum, many stories are coming out of the closet. Many well known personalities have been accused of sexual harassment and the latest one being the director of Housefull, Sajid Khan. Three women have spoken about the harassment they faced and have shared their heart-wrenching stories on their social media handles. One of the journalists  Karishma Upadhyay, on Twitter too narrated her tale of harassment by Sajid, who flashed his penis at her during the course of an interview.
Speaking about it, she wrote, "The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared w/ his sister. Thru the interview he talked about how large his penis is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman." Many celebs have come out in open to support the survivors. Dia Mirza came out in the support of Karishma and tweeted, "I am so sorry you had to go through this @karishmau. With you in support." Well, there are many more stories that are yet to come out in open.

In the last two weeks, since the time Tanushree Dutta came out with details of harassment she faced on the sets of a 2008 film, Horn OK Pleassss, at the hands of veteran actor Nana Patekar, many women have got the courage to speak up and share their ordeal in front of the whole world.
One of the most shocking revelations done was that of Alok Nath who was accused of rape by Vinta Nanda. India's Me Too movement has stormed the entire entertainment and media sector. Sona Mohapatra has accused singer Kailash Kher and music composer Anu Malik of harassment. Rajat Kapoor's name was also brought up. Queen director Vikas Bahl has been accused by three women, including actor Kangana Ranaut of sexual harassment.

Sajid is disgusting and its all over his face, he always looked and sounded disgusting. He probably cant get girls any other way anyway so .....!!!!

even if a few haandful of these scoundrels are caught&boycottd it would make a huge difference..dont back out women keep the stories coming..there is power is words..

What hypocrisy

Maybe she didn’t get harassed by Sajid..

For bollywood this is a huge step. Maybe some people are changing. #Metoo movement have inspired at least a handful to come out and support the victims in open. I think we should appreciate it instead of calling them hypocrites. Bollywood actresses don't have it easy, she might have done that song because she needed work desperately at that point. Let's encourage them moving forward :)
