Inside glimpse of Alia Bhatt & Vijay Varma's fun time prepping for Shah Rukh Khan's co production 'Darlings'

Just a few days back, Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan surprised everyone by announcing their co-production, 'Darlings' and left fans excited. The cast of the film includes Alia, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma and it is also the Raazi star's debut production under her new banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. While fans wait to hear more about the film, actor Vijay Varma, who left fans in awe of his act in Gully Boy, dropped a glimpse of his and Alia's preparation for Darlings. 

On the occasion of Alia's birthday, Vijay shared a photo from the prepping session for Darlings with Alia and director Jasmeet K Reen. In the photo, we can see Alia with Vijay and the director. The trio could be seen beaming with joy as they chilled and discussed their project. Alia is seen clad in white with a pair of hoop earrings while Vijay is seen sporting a casual blue jacket. Jasmeet, who will be helming the project, is seen posing with the two actors in the frame. 

Sharing the photo, Vijay expressed his excitement about the upcoming film. He wrote, "Happy Birthday #Darlings @aliaabhatt! Cannot wait to start this new adventure with you and @jasmeet_k_reen #prep @redchilliesent."

Meanwhile, as per Pinkvilla's reports, Shefali and Alia will be seen as mother-daughter duo in the film. The story will be set in the backdrop of Mumbai and the two women will be seen trying to find their courage under exceptional circumstances. The film also stars Roshan Mathews. The film is expected to go on floors in the first half of 2021.
