Irrfan Khan’s elder son Babil often shares interesting posts about his parents. He often walks down the memory lane and posts some rare glimpse into the Hindi Medium actor’s family life. Now today, as Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar turned a year older, Babil took to his Instagram handle to share a sweet birthday note for his mother. Babil has shared some unseen throwback pictures of Sutapa and wrote, “It’s my queen’s birthday.”
In the first still, Sutapa can be seen sitting inside a train and posing candidly for the camera. In another still, Sutapa can be seen sitting under a tree, while Babil can be seen lying down beside her. Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter Dishani dropped a cute comment; she wrote, “Happy Birthday” with heart emoticons. Popular fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania wrote, “Give her a big tight hug from me!” followed with a heart emoji.

Yesterday, Babil and Sutapa Sikdar attended the International Film Festival of India, where a tribute has been paid to late actor Irrfan Khan’s legacy by screening one of his most acclaimed films, ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. During the event, Sutapa recalled fond memories of the legendary actor and gave an emotional speech. Irrfan passed away due on April 29, 2020. He had been battling with neuroendocrine tumour.
