In Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh is seen as a Gujarati merchant. For his role, the actor trained with a diction trainer. While promoting Jayeshbhai Jordaar on Neetu Kapoor's show Dance Deewane Juniors, Ranveer Singh emotionally remembered late Rishi Kapoor. He performed with Neetu Kapoor on Rishi Kapoor's iconic song Ek Main Aur Ek Tu and was overwhelmed remembering the late legend.

Box Office Prediction

The movie is headed towards an opening in the Rs 3 to 3.5 crore range and will have a shot of breaching the Rs 4 crore mark only if the collections go up big on Friday evening and night. The advances are negligible, which is a scary scenario as Ranveer Singh is no small star and has in the past given respectable openings to his feature films.

As the film releases, reviews have been pouring. Earlier in the week, Vishal Dadlani wrote, "This was me telling @RanveerOfficial how precious he is, after watching #JayeshbhaiJordaar . All the coloured pajamas in the world can't distract from the talent, the truth & the heart it takes to live a film & character like he has. What a beautiful monster this guy is!!" 
 

Runtime and screen count details
The social comedy was certified U/A by the CBFC with an approved runtime of 2 hour and 4 minutes. Post the certification, the makers voluntarily cut short the film’s runtime by about 3 minutes and the final product is now 2-hour 1 minute long. 
 
According to industry estimates, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is releasing on around 2000 screens across the country, with more concentration of shows towards the multiplexes. 
Ranveer Singh announces Jayeshbhai Jordaar in theatres
On Friday morning, as cinemas and multiplex theatres opened their doors, Ranveer Singh took to social media to announce the film's release. "Jayeshbhai aavyo che! #JayeshbhaiJordaar in theatres near you!," an excited Ranveer wrote.
