Jennifer Aniston turned 50 in February this year and the actress is nowhere close to slowing down on the professional front. While the 'Friends' star lately has been making headlines alongside Brad Pitt for his surprise appearance at her birthday bash, she will soon be returning to the small screen in a big way. And by big, we mean money. The actress entered the space of films after her breakthrough role of Rachel Green in Friends. The show ended in 2004 and since then Jennifer has been seen in numerous films.

Not just that, her TV and movie career also landed her as the third highest-paid actress in 2018. Whereas in 2017, Forbes ranked her as one of America's richest female entertainers joining the likes of Madonna and Oprah Winfrey. Jennifer Aniston's net worth is close to a staggering USD 240 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Well, here's a lowdown on how Rachel Green went from being a waitress on Friends to earning a net worth in hundred-millions.

Jennifer returns to TV after 2004

Tech giant Apple recently launched its own streaming service and it will see some big names bringing in original content. The tech giant roped in Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carrell with their own version of a morning TV show. The new series is titled The Morning Show and bringing Jennifer Aniston back to TV did not come cheap. As per a Variety report, Apple is paying her USD 1.1 million per episode of The Morning Show. The series is expected to have two season with ten episodes each. With this, Jennifer will be earning a staggering amount of close to USD 20 million.

Is she still earning from Friends? Umm...in millions!

The show ended in 2004, but the six leading stars of the hit sitcom still mint money just from episode re-runs. In 2018, Variety had reported that the show was the most binge-watched show that year. In 2015, USA Today reported that each star takes home USD 20 million a year due to syndication rights. Not only that, web streaming services have also acquired the rights to stream the show and Netflix reportedly paid USD 100 million in 2018 to keep the show on their platform for another year.

Aniston's movie roles don't come cheap

Over the span of her career, Jennifer Aniston has starred in more than a dozens movies and the actress is often paid in millions for all her roles. Be it in big-budget comedies like Mother's Day and Office Christmas Party or Netflix movie Dumplin, the star has a legit track record of charging a bomb to feature in films. Although her films are not the critically acclaimed or festival openers, they sure do make moolah at the box office.

Jennifer Aniston is an entrepreneur!

Apart from her acting career, the bonafide Hollywood star also heads her own production company, Echo Films which she started in 2008 with producing partner Kristin Hahn. The company has produced films like The Switch and Dumplin. This is just another source of income for the star making her worth millions.

Endorsement deals are cherry on the cake

Since her breakthrough in Friends, Jennifer Aniston has been the go-to person for endorsements. A long list of endorsements ups her net worth even higher. Aniston has been a brand ambassador of Smart Water, featured in scores of European ads for beauty brand L'Oréal and Heineken beer and signed a USD 5 million deal with Emirate Airlines for digital and TV campaigns. And this is probably just the tip of the iceberg. Forbes editor Natalie Robehmed once said, "I would estimate she makes over USD 10 million a year through her endorsements, easily."
